Simon is about to become a dad, and has no idea to deal with it. Looking for direction, he turns to his childhood hero: the cycling champion and drug cheat, Marco Pantani.

Trying to make sense of things before his life is changed forever, Simon sets off on a pilgrimage to the mountains of Marco’s most famous victories, the scenes of his most tragic failures, and the hotel room where he died.

Darkly humorous and grippingly physical, MARCO tells the epic story of Marco Pantani, and Simon’s quest to find out what it means to be the best.
